We have opened this Instagram account in April, and with the support of many people, we were able to open our online store at the end of November.
Once again, we would like to express our sincere gratitude for your support.
During production, we noticed that our child had developed the habit of sensing the sunset and dawn through the carved windows in the workshop.
It was a fun and precious time to immerse ourselves in our work while watching the baby monitor. When I think back to last year, just after giving birth, I was able to let go of my hands a little, and I really felt my child's growth.
I would like to continue to move forward while working busily every day.
Next time, we will be selling the same boxes as in December from 20:00 on Saturday, January 4th.
For the wrapping paper, we chose a red flower pattern to match the new year (M/L are different).
We are also planning to sell Valentine's Day Boxes and Blackie Boxes in the second half of January. Please consider purchasing them. Thank you for your continued support this year.
(Apology) Regarding the inability to purchase
Thank you very much for your many orders this time.
Some customers have contacted us saying that they were experiencing errors during payment and were unable to make a purchase, but this was due to an incorrect setting on our side.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to you as you were looking forward to accessing our site. We will be careful to prevent similar incidents from happening again.
The issue has now been resolved, so please feel free to take a look at it again.
We look forward to your continued support.
Online store launches
Our online store will finally open today, November 30th, at 8pm! (Please forgive some deviations as this is done manually)
We will start by selling only the söpö tomi BOX. We plan to gradually start selling individual items in the future, so we hope you can find something you like.
Thank you very much for your cooperation.
The homepage is complete
I've been working on my homepage little by little.
Completed ahead of the launch of our online store!
With the help of my old friend, Toshizo Shinohara, we were able to create a wonderful website.
I really like the design, which incorporates the colour of the walls inside the store and my daughter's paintings, to connect it to the physical store.
Shinohara-san is someone I am grateful to for creating the website for the music events I was planning personally when I was in my 20s and 30s.
I met Shinohara's wife through my beloved tenniscoats, and since we lived nearby, she was willing to help me out.
As time passed, we both got married and had children, and I am happy to have been able to request your services again.
The workshop and store are complete
After a process that lasted several months, the first floor of the house, which previously only had pink walls, plumbing and a toilet, is now able to function as a confectionery workshop.
Once the store opens, I'm sure I'll be busy focusing on what's in front of me, so I've taken this opportunity to look back on each month.
Although it's only one line of text, it brings back a wealth of memories and makes me feel like I've made progress little by little.
April: Created a business plan with support from the Yorozu Support Center
May: Consulted with a credit union and applied for Yokohama City's system loan.
June: After submitting documents and having financial institutions visit the site, financing is approved and construction begins.
July: Construction and equipment delivery completed
August: Permission obtained from the public health center completed
The carpenter who built the store is Mr. Hiroshi Ito of Mokuren Seisakusho . He was a classmate of my husband, and after meeting him at a class reunion, we decided to ask him to do the construction work on our house as well. The design was done by Yusuke Yoshimoto, a first-class architect.
They patiently accommodated all of our requests and delivered a finished product that we are very satisfied with.
Looking at the workshop that was completed with the cooperation of many people, including my husband and children, I feel a sense of responsibility.
Greetings
Nice to meet you. We are online baked goods store "söpö tomi", will open at the end of November 2024.
* Please also check about söpö tomi, which introduces sweets and ingredients.
We are a married couple who work for a company and have a family of four, including two children aged 3 and 1. They obtained the confectionery hygiene certification last year. From the beginning of our marriage, we wanted to own a shop as a couple and contribute to society in our own way, so in 2021 we built a store and residence.
After I turned 40 and gave birth to my second child last year, I decided to open my own practice. Because I work part-time and my children are still young, my activities will be slow at first, but I hope for your continued support in the future.
I mainly use Instagram ( @sopotomikashi ) to share information. I would appreciate your support.
